For everyone who keeps live music loud.
To the people who show up
Every band says they love the crowd, and every band probably means it. But for us, it is hard to overstate what it feels like when people choose to spend part of their night in a room with live music. You could be anywhere. You could be home, scrolling, watching, waiting for the week to finally loosen its grip. Instead, you walk into a bar, stand near the amps, and help make the room feel alive.
That matters to us. It matters to the venues that still make space for loud guitars and real drums. It matters to the bartenders, the sound people, the friends who drag friends out, and every person who still believes a song hits different when it is happening ten feet in front of you.
We play the music that lived in your car, your backpack, your first apartment, your burned CDs, and the folders you treated like treasure. The songs you found on Napster or LimeWire, renamed badly, downloaded slowly, sorted carefully, and decided were important enough to burn onto a disc. Then you drove around with them, windows down, no real plan, no real worry, just a stack of songs that felt like they belonged to you.
That is the feeling we are chasing. Not nostalgia as a costume, and not a perfect museum copy of the record. We are trying to catch the spark of those favorite songs: the first riff that made everyone look up, the chorus the whole room already knows, the heavy part that still makes your shoulders drop and your head move before you think about it.
So if you have clapped, shouted, sung along, told a friend, followed us, posted a clip, asked for a song, bought a shirt, tipped the band, or just stood there smiling while we figure out who we are becoming... THANK YOU! You are not extra to this; YOU are the reason we perform your songs!
If you want to throw a few bucks toward ❤️, strings, sticks, gear, glow sticks, and the next loud night, this goes straight to the band.
We printed about 40 shirts to start, and they are gone. We are working on a redesign and will print more soon. We expect them to be $20, and it helps to know what sizes and cuts people actually want. Email us at neonbellyTN@gmail.com, and we will do our best to accommodate you and let you know when they are in. If you already know you want one, you can Venmo us and leave a note with your preferred size or style. And if shirts are not the thing, tell us what would be. Shirts are cool, but maybe you have a better idea ;)
