Neon Belly is a cover band from Franklin, Tennessee. This policy explains what information neonbellyband.com and the band's own posting tools collect, how it is used, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Automatically. When you visit neonbellyband.com, Google Analytics collects things like your browser and device type, your approximate location (derived from your IP address), the pages you view, how long you stay, and how you arrived at the site. We use this only to understand which pages people read so we can improve the site.
When you contact us. If you email neonbellytn@gmail.com, we receive your email address and whatever you choose to tell us. We use it to reply, to talk about bookings, and to keep a record of the conversation.
When you tip or pay us. Tips and any merch payments go through Venmo. Venmo handles the payment under its own privacy policy. We see the details Venmo shows us, such as your name or username, the amount and any note you add.
On social media. If you follow, comment on, message or tag us on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or YouTube, those platforms and we both see that activity, and the platforms' own policies apply.
Google Analytics sets cookies in your browser to tell visits and visitors apart. Embedded videos (see below) may set their own cookies.
The site also saves a few preferences in your browser's local storage so they stick between visits: the color theme and fonts you pick with the record-sleeve switcher, and whether you chose Spanish. This stays on your device and is never sent to us. You can clear it any time in your browser settings.
This site uses or links to services run by other companies. They may collect information, such as your IP address, when your browser loads their content, and their own terms and privacy policies apply to that.
Our fonts and images are hosted on this site, not fetched from a font service.
We use information to run and improve this website, answer your messages, arrange shows and bookings, and keep our own records. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising. We share it only with the service providers described above who help us run the site, or when the law requires it.
Analytics data is kept for the period set in our Google Analytics account. We keep emails for as long as they are useful for bookings and band business, then delete them. You can ask us to delete an email thread sooner (see below).
This site is for a general audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us information, email us and we will delete it. Many of our shows are at 21 and over venues.
We keep the amount of personal information we hold small, and the site is served over HTTPS. No method of transmitting or storing information is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Neon Belly Scheduler is a private tool the band uses to post our own performance videos to our own Facebook Page, Instagram account and YouTube channel. Only band members use it. It does not access anyone else's account.
When we connect our YouTube channel, the scheduler uses YouTube API Services to upload our videos, set their titles, descriptions and publish times, and read the status of videos on our channel. It stores the sign-in token only on the band's own computer and uses it only for those tasks. It does not collect, sell or share information about viewers or anyone else, and it does not use YouTube data for advertising.
By using YouTube, you agree to the YouTube Terms of Service. Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy. The band can remove the scheduler's access to our channel at any time from the Google security settings page.
We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
